Assessments...

Each child I see will be assessed to find out where their strengths and difficulties lie. The assessments which are administered will give an over view of all skills needed for effective communication, e.g. attention and listening skills, understanding instructions, expressing vocabulary and needs and speech production. Assessments can be formal which give standardised scores or informal which gives a baseline of the child's abilities.

A report will be written after assessment outlining recommendations and advice. A child may require therapy input to support their communication skills.
